seems very cheap..you have a blinding deal there.. however you must get a RAC inspection on it b4 mate good luck on your treasure hunt
Hello mate .Had a RAC inspection before when i bought my Espace and he missed loads of stuff.Rac gave me some money back !!!!!!!!It wasn't cheap either. Ben.
I've had 2 ex police cars. First one did throw a big end, but turned out to be an oil feed problem which could happen to any car with starship mileage. Second one has been fine, but it did need new front disks. So far so good. Reckon it's well worth you're taking a look at it.
seems very cheap mate. is it a t5?
Yep its a T5 auto 2001-51 reg Cheers Ben
Got a AA Dekkra inspection done on a v70R i was ready to buy came back as follows, cracked front headlight, other light not working ( guy said it does) lower front fog not working (guy said it does), two front wings and bumper replaced, smoke coming out dip stick, coolant level low (guy said its not said inspector looked at washer bottle by mistake) oil low (guy said it aint and doesnt use oil) front headlight wiper not working ( guy said it does and was stuck with ice at time) clutch bite point very high might need replacing soon ( guy said all volvos are the same and it aint slipping) steering has to be constantly adjusted when driving possible steering rack ( guy said a new one was fitted 15 months ago and its the wide tyres thar causes tram lining and said he can drive down his street with hands off wheel and it doesnt wander offered video to prove, steering wheel not straight when driving in a straight line,(guy said needs tracking done etc, wrong speed rated tyres all round should be vr rated which would invalidate insurance in an accident ( guy said thats crap,no load cover in back ( guy said never had one didnt know the came with them, signs of oil leakage back and under engine( guy said none on his drive way where it sits, think theres more but i would need to read report. cost me £250 meant to be a two hour inspection guy said the inspector was only there for 20 minutes.
sounds alot wrong fo 120l miles to me bulbs etc not a problem oil leak probably turbo return pipe but i would think the rac guy knows the diference between coolant bottle and washer fluid lol
in my opinion still a bargain as long as head gasket not gone
go for it mate..
