Evening all.Having lost my job last week am thinking about getting two small cars to run as opposed to the Espace as my wife needs one for wifey things ie; school runs, shopping etc etc.Has anyone had or ran a volvo 440?Want something safe for my princesses. Also does anyone know if you can lease/hire a car for about 6months/Year.Something like a KA for me as i have a few job interviews to get to plus am applying for my HGV license so i will need a car to get there. Cheers Ben :worried:

Remember the Volvo 440 was based on Renault mechanicals so doesn't really have the same bomb proof reputation as the 'proper' Volvo's. That said I have a Laguna which uses the same ohc engine as the 440 ,and it's covered 220,000 miles so far without any major problems !
