am interested in tunning my car up rather a lot, would be keen on going to the hpt. what do i need, i guess bigger turbo, lower pressure pistons and different head. i am aiming in the region of 360 bhp plus. i also want to know what cost are involved in the upgrade. am trying to save up i guess its going to be in the region of 2-3k. main problem i have is living in n.i i need it to be reliable as wont be able to go back and forward to get it fixed.
your input in this would be greatly recieved. i would change the car to a c70 2.3 but mine is very clean and have it really looking well.
regards

Surely it'd be cheaper to buy a T5? The lpt's don't like big boost, VT are worth a call and will be able to sort you out!

dropping a t5 in is an option but i know the engine i have and its in good condition. i would rather keep the originall engine granted wit alot of new parts but stil with the same engine no. and that sort of stuff

Hi Alan,
Drop me an email so I can reply with details. To cut a long story short, it's definately possible but you will probably need to make your budget a bit bigger unless you are prepared to do the engine build work yourself.
Also, you'll need to ditch the BSR PPC and have a custom map done on a rolling road with that sort of setup.
Adam.
