Regina Spektor - Soviet Kitsch (alanis morisette meets norah jones: insane songs with traditional piano/singer/guitar combos; really youthful though) - track 'Us' used in a skateboarding cinema advert for Sky TV. Excellent.
Hacienda Classics, 3 cd's that remind me of my mispent youth!!!
Not new , but if you havent got it , go and get Soul Mining by THE THE or their best songs ( not their greatest hits but a comp of their best songs ) which is called 45rpm .. great songs !!
For a bit of a chill out, Jack Johnson - Inbetween Dreams
