hi, just joined the forum, so i thought i'd introduce myself..
my name is serdar and i live in istanbul, turkey. i recently
bought a year 2001 S60 T5 geartronic and did a superchip
+ cat back.
i've read some comments here about the superchip and i know...
but unfortunately, it's pretty much what we have here in
istanbul... we also have a unichip dealer but they don't
look like real pros and they don't even have a decent
rolling road dyno so i'd thought what the hell and had a
superchip installed and it made a moderate difference..
they claim +30 hp but i wouldn't know really...
anyway, it's nice to be here & cheers. :)

We are only picky about Superchips because we are a little spoilt over here and have some very good tuning options!!

must admit i was a bit jealous !!! :)

btw, do you by any chance know at what psi the stock turbo works in S60 T5 ?..

Hi Mate
Mines a bit older than yours hehe. Its a 1994 850 T5 Estate. Had it less than a week and it's my first Volvo. 1st impressions are its a very good car....its as quick or quicker than my old toyota supra, it can carry loads more stuff, its comfier and its more fuel efficient hehe.
I didn't intend to tune mine up at all.....but I am already thinking about the Volvo strut brace....its a slippery slope hehe.

a close friend of mine had the exact same car. i've driven it. that car was the
reason i've always wanted a volvo. reliable, strong and fun to drive (+fun to
surprise some bmws and mercs too! :) ).
as to the tuning parts, i only wish i had so many options as you guys...
wouldn't waste a minute mate hehe :)

do i send the software only, or do i literally uninstall my ecu and send it?

hi ya,just been trying to find out if its poss to get your ecu upgraded out of car on your 2001 motor, but im still not sure mate.(is poss on earlier cars)

its a great site , check it out for details and then call direct for a yes or no.
it only takes a couple of hours to re-map ,so if its poss to remap your ecu out of car... itll be just down to how quick the postman can peddle to Turkey.
