it is TC i had the pleasure of having a go in it mate and it was awesome mate jet black 855 with gradual fading tints (back window and side windows limo black, rear doors dark smoke, front doors light smoke)looked the dogs private bits mate with the anthracite alloys and went like sh8t of a highly polished shovel with a RICA 310 upgrade went down to my local bodyshop for a quote on both sides to be removed of dents and colour coding of handles and repaint down both sides £1100 plus vat which Tristan was happy with as the last bodyshop he used fooked the paint job up down one side

Gonna get mine tinted in the near future, once I've got the timing belt and the brakes done that is. I did all my own colour coding so it didnt cost me anything(except paint that is).

If you decide to go down that route, save yourself a load of hassle and buy some V70 door handles. They're a straight swap(pretty much) and are much more easily colour coded, plus you can get these painted and then just swap them over with you old ones. You should get a set of four for around £100

if i do TC i will make sure when i place my own order that i change the retail price to cost price HE HE whats the difference between the 70 series and 800 series as i have looked and the part numbers are slightly different and thats it are they a smoother finish or something

Post 103089 by Tomcat on 2006-04-28 22:27:23

Yup, the 70 ones are smooth, the 850 ones have a rough finish with two grooves down the handle. The price I quoted was from a breakers, I have no idea how much they'll be new.

I'm sure I saw that car at VT a couple of months ago. Does it have a diagram of a racetrack or something on the tailgate?
