My kids come out with similar comments, sometimes although I wish the ground would swallow me up I can't help but laugh.

About 35 years ago, one of mine was very keen on Trumpton, Camberwick Green etc. & was always being one character or another. One day, in a shop, he got talking to a lady & she said "And what's your name"? He replied "Lord Bellborough" The lady gave a look implying 'what's the aristocracy coming to'?
(The most relaxing days were those when he pretended to be a drainpipe). This was also the one who once announced that he was never going to have children, because the things you had to do to have them were too rude. He's 40 now, married, but still childless.

My eldest was in Sainsbury's yesterday with my wife and was walking down the health and beauty isle.Whilst my wife is choosing shampoo she asks what are these mummy?"What's what" she replies,(the kids are now being taught phonetically now which involves spelling the word out)"D U R E X" she said."Not sure,my wife replies, best you ask your daddy" whilst nearly wetting herself.
It all happens in the supermarket.
