Just phoned up about the 850R for sale in Autotrader.
850R, 121k,Nreg (96),£3495.
He has had the car for 3 weeks on a trade in but had no service history.He has gone to Volvo and it has FSH at garage no 70459,also previous owner said it was damaged but is HPI clear.
Is it possible to find out more info about the car?
Reg no is N617 UPM also had private plate no J11 XER.
The car is just off M42 jct 4.
Would it be possible for anyone on here to check the Volvo computer?Please let me know re; costs.Or is it possible for me to find out anymore info myself.

From looking on the RAC website I can help you with the following information:
Vehicle details :

Date manufactured 30 December 1996

Last owner change 26 November 2005
Perhaps run an HPI check to see if the damage has been recorded. I never trust a seller, which is the way you should go into buying a car.

I purchased an 854R, only a few weeks ago, I didn't pay any way near the asking price for this one. Try knocking them down a grand mate!

if i were you i would pay for a HPI check mate. the rac info is too basic for what you require

Hi guys.Looking at the RAC info it says first registered 30 DEC 96.
My Espace was first registered 30.10.96 and is a P reg.Surely the 850 should be a P reg? or have i got it wrong?

m 42 j4 sounds very close to portway motors, if it is be very carefull they will tell you anything to get a sale ,ive had a few unsavoury dealings with them.
